"The Washington Projects is one of the most innovative sounds in Christian music today," exclaims Derek Hoiem, Owner and CEO of Save The City Records. "Many people think that Christian music is a knock off of what's happening in secular music but The Washington Projects deliver something that is totally original that could compete on any secular music chart. What's different, however, is their positive, gospel-based message. The rise of the popularity of Christian hip-hop has shown that people are hungry for positive alternatives to what's happening in the mainstream music marketplace, and The Washington Projects are here with an alternative that avid music listeners will love."

In addition to the upcoming album release of Space, Time, Continuum, Jekob Washington will release his first solo project with Save The City Records in late 2012. His first radio single, “Love Is All,” is currently climbing up Billboard's Christian CHR chart and is currently at No. 18, making this Save The City Records’ first Top 20 radio single.
